Who am I? My name is Dani Golden.

I took my first steps in a baby pool. That should have been my first clue that I felt more at home in water than on land. A former competitive swimmer and entertainment and advertising executive, I have always strived to do my best.

Always competitive with myself, I struggled to navigate the competitive landscape of life. It wasn’t until one day when I walked into my therapist’s office and she told me, “You talk a lot about competition. Have you ever thought about writing about it?” that I went home and began writing about competition.

Throughout my life, there has been a constant theme playing in the background: competition. When I stopped to look around, I realized it was everywhere. Every time we compare ourselves, we engage in competition. It seemed odd and interesting to me how something so abundant and pervasive was seldom discussed or analyzed.

LIFE. GAME ON! A Competitor’s Guide, shares the knowledge I’ve gained from my many experiences. My intention is to encourage others to embrace their competitive spirits by mastering the art of becoming a healthy competitor.

Today, I get the privilege of being able to speak to individuals and organizations about the power a healthy competitive environment can have and how much more productive people and companies can be when thriving in a healthy competitive atmosphere.

In addition to focusing on promoting Healthy Competition, I am the founder and creator of the Identity Handbook, the Dani Golden brand, and DAG & Associates.
